Lace loops interrupt the near-uniform look with their iron grey-reminiscent makeup, but their boldness pales when compared to the branding at the top of the tongue and lateral heel. “airmax” text on the top of the tongue maintains their standard design, but swoosh emblems on the lateral sidewall take on a three-dimensional “jewel” construction, a style that’s recently appeared on a number of Air Force 1 Mid pairs. Down below, visible Airbags and “NIKE AIR” messaging on the outsole also indulge in ruby-colored style, while accompanying foam at the midsole keep things muted in grey.
